Just enough "squish" to put in place. Provides plenty of stopping power to protect fingers on both sides of the door.

We use them as both door stoppers and bath toys they stick to the wall when wet so they work well for both 🙈

These are super cute and simple. Love the animal designs, if I leave them out my son will use them as toys if anything lol. But they work well and get the job done to ensure no fingers get pinched!

These work fairly well. They're better for ensuring that a kiddo or animal doesn't get locked in a room than really guarding against pinched fingers, but they do the job. The trouble is the hinged side of the door - my kids are at an age where they're curious about everything, and fascinated by things like the gap in the door-hinge... As directed, these are no help at all. But! I have found that by putting the pinch-guard over the hinge itself (vertically), it helps. They still pinch their fingers, but at least they can't crush them... Toddlers. The soft foam has also inadvertantly doubled as a teething toy for my tots, so there's that. I also really like the bright colors and the animals.
